The Helmholz "Product Security Incident Response Team" (PSIRT) supports you proactively to protect your machines as best as possible in the context of industrial communication. Whenever new potential threats occur or are reported to us, we evaluate and process them immediately and provide you with recommended actions, patches and updates as quickly as possible to reduce the risk to a minimum.
Professional Cooperation
Helmholz cooperates with CERT@VDE, the first platform for the coordination of IT security problems especially for companies in the field of industrial automation. It offers manufacturers, integrators, plant constructors and operators in the field of industrial automation the opportunity for an intensive and trusting exchange of information and concrete support on the subject of cyber security.
In addition to the technical newsletters, Helmholz communicates its security-relevant updates, patches and instructions for action via the CERT@VDE as a central coordination point to you as a purchaser or user of Helmholz products. Keep informed and use the services and database of the CERT@VDE to make and keep your systems secure.

Why report vulnerabilities?
We cannot discover every vulnerability ourselves and rely on your assistance. If you notice something wrong with our products or services, please write to us at psirt(at)helmholz(dot)de or at support(at)helmholz(dot)de.
Helmholz will ensure that information is sent only to a limited group of designated Helmholz employees who are experienced in handling such matters: The Helmholz Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT). Neither unauthorized employees nor external users have access to the information you send.
What happens to your report?
Helmholz ensures that the identity and contact information of the reporter are kept confidential and will not be published in public statements (notices and bulletins) unless the reporter explicitly requests it. Helmholz PSIRT will investigate the reported vulnerability and contact you as soon as possible and provide ongoing information.
