myREX24 V2 - Commissioning and Management of REX Ethernet Routers
Failover - Integrated Cellular or WIFI Modem for Mobile Controls and Connection Critical Machines.
For each router series - REX 100, REX 200, REX 250 - different hardware equipment is available. For example, connection-critical production machines can be connected via Ethernet. In the event of a failure of the Ethernet connection, the fail-over mechanism causes the mobile modem to power up and the system remains accessible to the programmer via VPN.

Safer and more efficient network topologies through microsegmentation in the factory network.
Fieldbus systems such as PROFINET have a high proportion of broadcast communication. Behind this are useful mechanisms for detecting fieldbus nodes. However, this data load is undesirable in the classic corporate network / factory network and can cause problems by overloading switches. REX Ethernet routers thus fulfill further useful tasks as gatekeepers (conduit) between two networks (zones) in addition to remote maintenance.

myREX24 V2 - The Remote Maintenance Portal for Router Updates, Configuration and Connection Setup
The REX routers are designed for operation in interaction with the myREX24 V2 portal: The complete parameterization and remote maintenance is done via the portal. In addition to remote maintenance, the REX Routers can also read and visualize data from the PLC and generate alarms.
