Security note / firmware update for REX 100
We hereby inform you that a new firmware (V2.3.5) is available for the REX100 product series.
Dear Helmholz customer,
We would like to inform you that a new firmware version for the REX 100 product series is available on the myREX24 portal server. A critical security vulnerability has been closed in this FW version (V2.3.5). We strongly recommend that you update your REX 100 router in the field as soon as possible.
A related advisory on the identified vulnerability (VDE-2025-059) was published recently on CERT@VDE
All routers that are logged on in our portal server can be easily updated remotely: link.
Of course, it is also possible to perform an update directly on the device using a USB stick and the Firmware file that can be downloaded here
